Our Approach
Waalu is a completely remote tutoring service that assesses student needs and develops individualized plans for academic enrichment. We have a network of affordable, capable tutors that are excited to be a part of the student’s academic journey and offer specialized sessions to maximize their retention. Waalu seeks to foster a personal and professional relationship between student, parent and tutor that caters to the student’s areas of growth.

Our Tutors
Our tutors are compassionate individuals who are friendly and knowledgeable. We source them from a pool of certified tutors, and current and experienced teachers. We recommend that students meet twice a week with their tutor, for an hour, to work on mastering fundamental skills, seeking homework assistance and advancing academically.
Tutors have a flexible schedule and are available seven days out of the week
Monday - Friday
Traditional Sessions: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday
Make Up Sessions:
9 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Goals and Deliverables
Waalu supports student-centered academic achievement. Our goal reflects the student’s goals and our charge is to have our students exceed their current level of achievement. Our individualized approach combined with engaging tutors boosts students to meet their grade level expectations. We monitor progress through our quarterly assessment tests and monthly reports that document where the student has shown growth and outline areas for improvement.
