 Responsibilities:

• Academic Support & Homework Help: Provide personalized academic support and homework help in Mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA). 

• Mentorship and Motivation: Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel motivated and empowered to reach their full potential.

• Individualized Instruction: Employ creative and engaging teaching techniques to capture students' interest, promote critical thinking, and deepen their understanding of the subject matter.

• Monitor Progress: Regularly assess students' progress through assignments and monthly checkpoints. Provide constructive feedback, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address any learning gaps or challenges.

• Subject Expertise: Possess strong knowledge and proficiency in one or more subjects, including but not limited to Mathematics and ELA. Familiarity with relevant curriculum standards and requirements is highly advantageous.

• Teaching and Tutoring Experience: Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students of various age groups and academic levels is preferred. 

• Empathy and Patience: Have genuine passion for education, complemented by a patient and empathetic approach towards students, as well as the ability to instill confidence and create a safe and supportive learning environment.

• Effective Communication: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey ideas and instructions effectively, listen actively, and provide constructive feedback.

• Reliability and Professionalism: Punctuality, dependability, and a high level of professionalism in all interactions with students and parents is required. Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality.

• Technological Proficiency: Candidates must be adept at using digital platforms for remote tutoring, such as Zoom, virtual whiteboards, and online learning resources.
